Bishop Lennon Visits Diocesan Newman Centers

The Newman Catholic Student Organizations from four of our colleges/universities were honored to welcome Bishop Richard Lennon to their campuses for pastoral visits during the academic year.  Bishop Lennon visited Oberlin College in October (photo at right), the University of Akron in November (photo below), as well as Case Western Reserve University and Ashland University in April. During his two years as the Bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland, Bishop Lennon has made it clear that he enjoys visiting with the people of the diocese.  He is especially fond of visiting with adolescents and young adults, whom he sees as an important part of both the present and the future of the Church.  When he visits our campuses, he always takes time to listen to the concerns of the students and to answer their questions.  Often he will also celebrate a Liturgy with them, and share a meal.
